Ben de Chanéet, our South West Operations Manager, recently competed in the Lancelin Ocean Classic Windsurfing Race. The race had to be rescheduled to Sunday, the 18th January, due to there being no wind on the Saturday.
Competitors were greeted with light winds around midday, and the Organisers called the start time to be 1pm. Much frantic rigging happened. Using the biggest sail he has, Ben managed to finish in the top third of the fleet in 56th place.
This is not his best result, but Ben said “every race I finish is a good race”.
