As the Workshop Leading Hand, you’ll be the go-to person on the floor supporting and guiding a team of experienced technicians while still getting hands-on with mechanical work.

You’ll work closely with the office team to keep things running smoothly, ensuring top-quality service for every customer. This is a perfect opportunity for a tradesperson with leadership skills to take the next step without the burden of full business management.

What will you be doing?

• Leading and mentoring a team of workshop technicians
• Managing daily workflow and ensuring high-quality workmanship
• Performing diagnostics, repairs and servicing on a wide range of vehicles

What you’ll need:

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Proven leadership experience in a workshop or team environment
• Experience in a service advisory role is a bonus
• Air Conditioning license (desired but not essential)
• Manual Driver’s Licence.
• Excellent communication and people skills
