Workshop Co-ordinator

A great opportunity is available for an experienced Workshop Coordinator to join our client’s team ASAP, headquartered in O’Connor reporting directly to the State Manager.

Our client has a reliable/stable project pipeline of long-term work, across workshop fabrication, supply chain, and site logistics.
 
What’s on Offer:

• Rates: $42.23/hr + O/T 
• Travel Allowance: $30 per day
• Roster: 13-day fortnight (enjoy a regular long weekend)

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Coordination: Move project materials between workshop fabrication, stores and active sites
• Inventory & Stores: Load and unload trucks using a forklift, handle goods receiving, complete stock takes and manage the In/Out stock movements
• Transport & Delivery: Oversee the safe operation of company vehicles for the team to deliver materials, tools and pipework directly to active construction sites
• Trade Support: Provide hands-on assistance to workshop trades (Fabricators and Welders) as required.
• Rigging Support: Assist in securing, rigging and lifting heavy mechanical pipework and prefabricated assemblies in compliance with Australian Standards
• Safety Admin: Assist site teams with WHS administration and compliance

Requirements:

• Tickets: Valid Forklift Ticket (LF), current Driver’s Licence, and White Card are essential
• Experience: Background as a Trades Assistant, Fitter, Welder, or Stores/Logistics Coordinator
• Skills: Strong communication & Leadership capabilities, and basic computer literacy for inventory tracking
