RecruitWest’s client in Canning Vale is looking for a permanent addition to their team. Our client specialises in the sourcing, recycling, processing and distributing of minor metals.

They’re looking to onboard a Tester/Sorter to operate hand-held x-ray equipment for the identification of alloy compositions, as well as to complete all associated paperwork to ensure full traceability of material. Additionally, you will be required to sort and grade materials, cut and repackage stock and operate counterbalance forklifts.

You may also be required to operate processing equipment and assist in the completion of inspections/records for equipment.

What are the details?

• Monday to Friday, 7am to 3.10pm with overtime available
• Pay rate is $30-$36/hr (based on experience)
• Based in Canning Vale 
• Full-time employment
• All PPE and tools are provided
• Training provided
• Immediate start

What will you need?

• High Risk Work Licence (LF Forklift Ticket)
• Experience with x-ray analysis (preferred)
• Experience within the metal industry (preferred)
• Full Australian working rights
