What is your favourite component of a building? For us, it’s most definitely the roof and we hope it is for you, too. RecruitWest is on the hunt for a number of Roof Plumbers/Metal Roofers to carry out ongoing project-to-project work for our client, south of the river.

What is the scope of work?

• Cutting flashings and metal sheetings
• Assisting with the repair and replacement of gutters and downpipes
• General metal roof repairs, maintenance and replacements

What are the details?

• Pay rates – $45-$55/hr for experienced roof plumbers, $35-$45/hr for general roofing labourer
• Perth-metro based (mostly south of the river) with opportunities for DIDO
• Ongoing work – our client is looking to have a permanent team of roofers, rather than subcontractors for specific projects only
• Work commencing early January 2025
• Roof plumbing training provided for roofing labourers

What are the requirements?

• Working at Heights Ticket (completed within the last 2 years)
• High Risk Work Licence – EWP (over 11m)
• Valid WA Driver’s Licence/your own transport
• Your own tools
• White card
• Australian working rights
