Vacancy: Forklift Operator / Process Worker

Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Our client is the only battery recycling business in WA. Working in their new purpose built, state of the art facility you will be given the opportunity to work as part of a small team.

The recycling process requires the breaking down of used automotive batteries to extract and recover their component parts, for re-use.

This involves:

• Crushing where batteries are physically broken down
• Primary separation of battery components which results in separation of metallic lead, lead paste and plastics
• Secondary separation of plastic battery components and immobilisation of plastic separator waste
• Production and packaging of recycled products and waste materials, and treatment of generated wastewater

About the role:

• In this role you will start as the Forklift Operator in the dispatch area. Training will be provided in learning the processing plant in time.
• Monday-Friday + occasional O/T (7am-3.30pm with a 30 min lunch break)
• Pay rate is $36/hr, paid weekly
• Bibra Lake Location
• Work with small team of 10
• Long-term role for the right person
• Excellent facilities and safety standards all PPE provided
• Working in a Lead Plant requires medical check and blood tests monthly
• Immediate start

Required:

• Forklift Ticket and basic forklift experience
• Consent to monthly blood test (provided by clients nurse)
• Fantastic safety standards and attitude to work
