Pit & Pipe Drainage Labourer

Job Opportunity: Pit and Pipe Technician
Location: Mundaring, WA
Hours: 9-Day Fortnight (7am–3:50pm)

Are you ready to take on a versatile role that keeps you on your toes? We’re seeking a Pit and Pipe Tech to join the construction crew at the Shire of Mundaring. If you have a background in road and bitumen construction/maintenance, and the ability to operate a range of machinery, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Machinery: Rollers (multi tyre and steel drum), 8-tonne 3-way tipper trucks, water carts and more
• Civil Construction: Work with rock and concrete materials, including stone headwalls, rock pitching and concrete work
• Road Construction Support: Clear pegs, assist with stringing work for graders and handle compactors, cement mixers, concrete cutters and other small plant equipment
• Labouring: Engage in general labouring duties and other tasks related to Local Government civil work

Requirements:

• HR Driver’s Licence
• Blue/White Card
• Experience in road and bitumen construction/maintenance
• Familiarity with the operation of relevant machinery and equipment
