We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to lead our team and drive operational excellence. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of a mid-sized mining contracting company, who provide Pit Production, Crushing and Transport Services in the Goldfields. This is a residential role based in Kalgoorlie.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to align with the company’s overall business objectives
• Operational Efficiency: Optimise operational performance, including production, maintenance and logistics
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Financial Management: Oversee financial performance including budgeting, forecasting and cost control
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and regulatory standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven track record in operations management within the production mining environment
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and contract management skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Financial acumen and understanding of key financial metrics
• Knowledge of relevant mining regulations and industry standards
