About the Role:

We are seeking an Operations and Planning Manager to oversee the daily operations of plumbing, electrical and construction divisions.

This role involves managing on-site employees and trades, coordinating project estimating and ensuring smooth workflows to maintain a strong pipeline of work.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated leader with experience in the trades industry to drive operational excellence and support a growing business.

Key Responsibilities:
     
     ✔ Project Estimation & Planning
        Lead the estimation process for plumbing, electrical and construction projects, ensuring accurate and competitive proposals.

        Develop project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.

     ✔ Team Management
        Supervise and support on-site employees and subcontractors, fostering a culture of safety, quality and efficiency.

        Conduct performance evaluations and provide professional development opportunities.

     ✔ Workflow Coordination
        Monitor project pipelines to ensure a steady flow of work across all divisions.

        Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align operational capacity with business demand.

     ✔ Quality Assurance & Compliance
        Implement and maintain quality control processes to uphold high standards of service.

        Ensure all operations comply with relevant industry regulations and safety standards.

     ✔ Client Relations
        Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.

        Build strong relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.

     ✔ Operational Efficiency
        Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

        Oversee the maintenance and procurement of equipment and materials.

About You:

    ✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management within the plumbing, electrical, or construction industries.
    ✅ Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
    ✅ Strong knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance.
    ✅ Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    ✅ Proficiency in project management software, estimating tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
