Job Title: Multi Plant Operator & General Labourer
Location: Mundaring
Pay Rate: $44.40/hr + penalties on O/T worked
Start Date: Immediate

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Multi Plant Operator & General Labourer to handle a range of duties from operating heavy machinery to performing detailed construction tasks independently.

Role Overview:

As a Multi Plant Operator & General Labourer, you will be essential in maintaining and enhancing infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include the operation of various medium-sized mechanical plant machinery and general labouring with a specific focus on constructing and repairing concrete kerbs, stone pitching and drainage structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain machinery such as multi-tyre rollers, steel drum vibration rollers, tip trucks, mini excavators, backhoes and skid steer loaders
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on all equipment to ensure optimal operation
• Independently execute tasks related to concrete kerbing, stone pitching, and the repair of drainage structures
• Engage in general labouring tasks including concrete, stonework and brick paving as per project requirements
• Comply with all safety guidelines and regulations while performing duties
• Coordinate with supervisors and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:

• Proven experience in operating medium mechanical plants such as multi-tyre and vibration rollers, excavators and loaders
• Valid HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver’s Licence
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on construction projects, specifically with concrete, stonework and brick paving.
• Strong understanding of safety practices related to construction and machinery operation
• Excellent physical condition and ability to perform labour-intensive tasks
