Position Title: Mobile Equipment Mechanic
Location: Various Sites North and South of River
Pay Rate: $40 – $50 per hour
Employment basis: Full-Time

RecruitWest are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Equipment Mechanic to join our client’s team. If you have a passion for diagnosing and repairing heavy machinery, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of mobile mechanical equipment.
• Carry out designated tasks as outlined by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Perform equipment repair and defect repair.
• Inspect equipment to ensure it meets safety and operational standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to determine the most effective solutions.
• Complete relevant documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize equipment performance.
• Maintain equipment to OEM standards.

Requirements:

• Relevant Trade Qualifications.
• Experience with CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi equipment.
• Proficiency in the use of SIS – CAT ET.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair various equipment.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical screening.
• Hold a WA HR License, White/Blue Card, and Forklift Ticket.
• Demonstrate strong diagnostic and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain and adhere to a safe work environment
