Vacancy: Mill Operator
Location: Hope Valley (within the City of Kwinana)
Employment Basis: Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: $45/hr flat rate

Our client, based in Hope Valley (within the City of Kwinana), is committed to delivering high-quality products. They are currently seeking a motivated and diligent Mill Operator to join the well-oiled team.

As a Mill Operator, you will play a crucial role in operations, ensuring the efficient loading of trucks, conducting accurate sampling and performing various tests to maintain high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift to load trucks.
• Conduct routine and specific sampling of materials for quality control.
• Perform basic and advanced tests on samples to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Record and report data accurately and efficiently.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Forklift Licence.
• Ability to commit to 10 hour shifts with an alternating morning/afternoon roster.
• Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects as needed.

Salary:

The pay rate is $45 per hour flat rate for all hours worked.
