Position Overview

We’re looking for skilled and experienced MC Road Train Operators to join our client’s team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for transporting materials efficiently and safely across multiple routes, ensuring timely deliveries. You’ll operate high-quality equipment and adhere to strict safety and operational standards.

Equipment You’ll Operate

  • Kenworth and Mack Trucks – with 18-speed Road Rangers and automatics
  • Triple and Quad Side Tippers
  • CAT 980-988 or WA500-600 Front-End Loaders

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate road trains in compliance with traffic laws and regulations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality
  • Self-load and unload materials using a front-end loader
  • Maintain accurate records, including mileage, fuel and delivery logs
  • Adhere to company protocols for equipment maintenance and safety

Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s Licence with required endorsements
  • Commercial Driver’s Fatigue Management Certificate (within 2-year validity)
  • Current National Police Clearance (site-dependent)
  • Proven experience as a Road Train Operator, handling triple side tippers and self-loading with a front-end loader
  • Familiarity with both on-road and off-road driving environments
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and handle high-paced operations with sound decision-making
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
