 Rates: $48–$50/hr + penalties (depending on site & experience)

About the Roles
RecruitWest is seeking experienced Industrial Spray Painters & Blasters to join our client across Alcoa Port and Alcoa Wagerup site.

These are excellent opportunities to secure ongoing, well-paid work with respected contractors in the industrial and resources sector. You’ll be working on structural steel, fabricated components, ensuring high-quality finishes and safe project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing surfaces (blasting, sanding, cleaning)
• Applying protective coatings using industrial spray methods
• Sandblasting and painting tanks, structural steel and heavy equipment
• Performing quality checks on completed work
• Safely operating and maintaining equipment
• Following strict site safety procedures

What We’re Looking For:

• Industrial spray painting experience (essential)
• Sandblasting experience (advantageous)
• EWP & Working at Heights tickets (essential)
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team Able to pass a pre-employment medical & D&A screen
