Factory Hands / Assemblers

We are seeking 3 reliable Factory Hand Labourers for an immediate start in early October.

Located at our client’s workshop in Midland, WA, these are stable positions working Monday to Friday, day shift, with overtime available.

About the Role

You will be working with high-quality BlueScope steel, taking pre-cut ‘C’ channel sections directly from a Roll Former machine and assembling them into structural frames and panels for houses and apartments. While the assembly designs change, the nature of the work is medium-paced and repetitive.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling steel frames and panels using basic hand and power tools (drills, electric screwdrivers, rubber mallets/hammers)
• Manually handling, lifting and stacking completed steel frames and panels
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised factory workshop environment
• High attention to accuracy and quality control

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience using basic handheld electric and non-electric power tools
• Strong physical fitness and the capacity to safely handle steel frames throughout a full shift (suitable for both male and female applicants)
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• A current Forklift (LF) Licence and operating experience is highly desirable but not essential
