Facility Officer – Mundaring Arena.

Position Title: Facility Officer at Mundaring Arena
Location: Mundaring, WA
Employment Basis: Full-time
Pay Rate: $36/hr

The Facility Officer will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of our community facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and building maintenance, knowledge of occupational safety and health (OSH) principles, and the ability to perform tasks efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
  • Prepare indoor & outdoor sports courts and function & meeting rooms.
  • Maintain and store all, cleaning and sporting equipment correctly.
  • Complete all maintenance and cleaning tasks in accordance with cleaning schedules.
  • Ensure decision-making, actions and behaviour are ethical, responsible, transparent and comply with legislation.
  • Understand and meet statutory responsibilities, inc records management, disability access, inclusion & emergency management and recovery activities following emergencies.

About the role:

  • Monday – Friday, 38hr/week
  • Pay rate – $36/hr, paid weekly
  • Immediate start date

To be considered, you’ll require:

  • Knowledge of OSH principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of sports floor cleaning and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of building maintenance principles.
  • Experience in sports floor cleaning.
  • Current C Class Driver’s Licence.
  • Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Trade certificate or similar qualification.
  • National Police Clearance.
