Excavator Operator

Calling all Excavator Operators!

RecruitWest is actively hiring for multiple experienced Excavator Operators to join our client’s family-owned recycling facility in Hazelmere.

This role is an ongoing position and would see you using medium and large diggers from 20t to 48t for stockpile benching operations, feeding material into the crusher, and pulling up stockpiles of asphalt, rock, concrete, ceramics, and construction/demolition waste. Previous experience using diggers to perform benching operations is a must.

About the Role:

• Base hours are 7am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday
• Pay rate $47.50/hour plus penalties for overtime
• Operating Doosan brand Diggers (DX224, DX300 & DX480) as well as Hitachi ZX360 & CAT 325C Diggers
• Temp to perm role
• Immediate start

Requirements:

• Current Excavator Ticket
• Previous experience operating large excavators in a civils or mining context
• Previous experience working on stockpiles, particularly performing benching tasks
• Full Australian working rights, essential
