Electrical Power Station Operator/Maintainer

Our client, is a leader in sustainable energy solutions, specialising in tailored off-grid power generation.

They work on landmark hybrid renewable energy projects integrating solar, ind, thermal energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and LNG storage.

RecruitWest has been engaged to supply a qualified Electrical Power Station Operator-Maintainer for their various FIFO operations, throughout Western Australia.
 
What You’ll Do:

• Operate, maintain & repair power generation equipment, including reciprocating engines and auxiliary equipment
• Perform routine and breakdown maintenance
• Manage engine control systems
• Provide after-hours support on-site for breakdowns
• Prepare reports and recommend improvements
• Manage work orders and purchase orders using ERP systems

What We’re Looking For:

• 3-5 years Electrical trade experience (power generation or heavy industry preferred)
• Experience in remote site work or FIFO and the ability to work unsupervised
• Possess strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills
• Experience with ERP systems (Pronto, Ellipse, SAP)

Qualifications:

• WA Electrical Worker’s License
• First Aid Certificate
• A current WA, C Class Driver’s Licence
• HV Switching Ticket is desirable.
• Ability to pass a National Police Clearance and Pre-employment Medical.
• Right to work in Australia, in a permanent capacity.
