RecruitWest is seeking Drainers and Drainer Offsiders to join our client’s Ingrounds Crew, assisting with installation works for sewer, stormwater drainage, water, and gas mains into civil subdivisions and commercial plumbing projects.

Tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with sewer, stormwater drainage, and services pipework installation.
• Monitor and assist with trench excavation for installation of pipework.
• Liaise with and receive direction from the Leading Hand and Project Manager.
• Work to achieve continuous improvement in efficiency, safety, and quality/environmental excellence.

What we’re looking for:

Drainers
Rates start from $42-$45 per hour + penalties

• Experience in operating relevant machinery (eg excavators, trenchers).
• Knowledge of drainage systems, PVC pipe laying and trenching.
• Current HR Licence (desirable but not essential).
• Construction Induction (White Card) and Dogman Tickets are all an advantage.
• High-quality workmanship and specialist technical capacity.

Drainer Offsiders
Rates start from $36.30 per hour + penalties

• Previous experience in civil construction or similar roles.
• Physically fit and capable of manual labour.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Construction Induction (White Card).
• Positive can-do attitude and excellent teamwork skills.
