RecruitWest is partnering with a rapidly growing mining contractor to recruit experienced Crusher Loader Operators for a large-scale gold operation located approximately 65km south-east of Newman.

With over 1.3 million ounces of gold reserves, an extensive 4,000km² tenement package and a long mine life, this is an outstanding opportunity to secure ongoing work with a contractor that’s continuing to grow across Western Australia.

The Role:

Working within the production team, you’ll play a key role in maintaining crusher productivity by safely and efficiently managing ROM operations.

Your duties will include:

• Feeding the primary crusher and e-feed bin
• Loading and carrying ore within the ROM pad
• Maintaining consistent crusher feed during production
• Operating safely around fixed plant and heavy mining equipment
• Working closely with production crews to maximise throughput

Equipment:
You’ll be operating well-maintained late-model equipment including:

• Komatsu WA900 Loaders
• Komatsu WA600 Loader during crusher shutdowns

What You’ll Need:

• Minimum 12 months’ experience in ROM management and crusher feed operations
• Previous experience operating in a fixed plant crusher environment
• Current Loader Ticket with experience operating large production loaders
• Current National Police Clearance and GSDU 
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Reliable work ethic with the ability to perform in a fast-paced mining environment
