Position Title: Boilermaker/Welder
Location: Jandakot
Schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time hours
Pay Rate: $50 per hour, paid weekly
Start Date: Immediate

RecruitWest is looking for a dedicated Boilermaker to join our client’s team in Jandakot.

In this role, you’ll contribute to high-quality fabrication processes, ensuring safety and precision every step of the way. 

Our client is a leading total fuel system supplier, engineering and manufacturing above and below ground fuel and chemical storage tanks.  They also handle site-built tanks, installations and pump system designs—all managed by an in-house design team.

As the only tank fabricator with its own abrasive blasting and coating division, our client guarantees unmatched product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings accurately for fabrication and welding
• Execute scheduled and ad-hoc fabrication duties to meet quality and safety standards
• Perform MIG and FCAW welding for tanks, fuel boxes and other components with precision
• Pass a basic weld test to demonstrate your skills
• Prioritise workplace safety and reliability to meet deadlines

Requirements:

• Relevant Boilermaker trade qualifications 
• Proven experience in welding and fabrication with a focus on quality workmanship
• Proficiency in MIG and FCAW welding techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with accuracy
• Successful completion of a weld test (mandatory)
• Must provide your own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Safety-conscious mindset and reliability
• Availability for an immediate start
