Automotive Spray Painter

Job Title: Automotive Spray Painter
Location: Kewdale, WA
Hours: Monday – Friday + occasional OT
Pay Rate: $60.83/hr
Start Date: Immediate

The role is for an experienced trade qualified Automotive Spray Painter to apply spray paint on scratches to brand new agriculture equipment and trucks to the standard of an automotive finish.

Responsibilities Include:

• Adhere to the company’s OH&S systems, procedures and policies
• Carry out paint repairs on brand new equipment to the highest possible standard
• Complete all required paperwork and take accountability for your work quality
• Carry out any reasonable request that is within your scope of trade, training or knowledge

General Knowledge & Skills:

• Must be able to sand and spray paint (2 Pack) using a conventional unit to a high standard
• Identify, assess if necessary and control hazards within their area of responsibility
• Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
• Be self-directed and motivated

Mandatory Requirements:

• Trade Certificate in Auto, Spray Painting – AUR32412 – Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology
• Excellent color matching skills
• Ability to maintain focus and work to deadlines
• High attention to detail and a focus on quality
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Adhere to all OH&S requirements for the trade

Desirable:

• Experience working on trucks and agriculture equipment is ideal
• Experience in Panel Beating or Plastics Repair or Fibreglass Repairs

About the Role:

• Monday to Friday + occasional overtime as required
• Permanent, full-time position
• Kewdale location
• Pay rate is $60.83/hr, paid weekly
• Immediate start
