Vacancy: Asphalt Crew Member
Location: Bunbury / Busselton and South-West
Employment Basis: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $40 per hour PLUS penalties, paid weekly
Start Date: Immediate

About the Role:

As part of the Asphalt Crew, you’ll play a vital role in the construction, maintenance and repair of asphalt surfaces.

You’ll work as part of a team to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties will include:

• Assist with the preparation of work sites, including setting up traffic control, cleaning surfaces and preparing for paving
• Operate and maintain asphalt paving equipment, such as rakes, shovels, rollers and compactors
• Spread, level and compact asphalt to specified depths and grades
• Assist with the application of tack coats and other materials
• Perform manual labour, including lifting, carrying and moving heavy materials
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader

To be considered, you’ll need:

• Previous experience in asphalt paving or related construction field is essential
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
• A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Full Australian working rights
